After the launch of the 2010 Winter Olympics emblem, VANOC was faced with the task of developing their own brand identity. Working at Karacters Design Group, I developed the core creative concept of “man and nature” and designed the brand’s creative platform. VANOC’s identity laid the foundation for it’s future expansion and evolution, which culminated with the “Look of the Games” designed by their in-house team. The design work itself won several awards, including Good Design and Lotus and has been featured in several publications.
